§ 10-47. Application; qualifications of applicant.

  • (a)

    Any person desiring to engage in the business of selling alcoholic liquors, wines and beers within the city shall make written application for a city beverage license. The application shall be accompanied by evidence that the applicant holds or will hold at the time the city license is issued a valid current state beverage license, and evidence that the applicant has or will have at the time of issuance of the city beverage license a valid and current city occupational license. The application shall set forth among other things the location by street and number of the place at which the business is to be located and the class of license desired.

    (b)

    The application shall be approved or disapproved by the city manager or the finance director or by a duly appointed agent of the city manager.
