§ 102-62. Fees for connecting or disconnecting service at user's request.

  • New users of water shall apply for service and pay a fee as prescribed by the city commission prior to having service turned on. Likewise a fee as prescribed by the city commission shall be charged for turning off water service when service

    is suspended at the request of the user. The fee shall include the cost of turning on the water when service is resumed. The turn-on fees apply only during normal working hours. When a customer requests that water service be turned on after normal working hours, a fee as prescribed by the city commission shall be charged. If the customer's water service has been turned off for nonpayment and the account is not current by 12:00 noon the next working day, water service shall again be discontinued as provided by section 102-134.
